Question XMLTV for Singapore

Hi,

I wanna know if it is possible to get XTML for SINGAPORE.

I have been hunting everywhere, but to no avail.

Any assistance on where to get, and how to install it with SAGETV would be MOST appreciated!

David.

Sorry, I meant EPG..

Take a look here: http://home.so-net.com.hk/~bdickens/TVxb/. If you need help with getting it working, it'll be a week or so before I have my HTPC ready to go. By then you will probably be able to help me getting it working . Also take a look at this thread: http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...ead.php?t=4551

Its an awsome application, and pretty easy to use once you read the developer's manual. It is extremely well documented. Bill Dickens is an incredible person. Let me know if you need any help with it. I will answer what I can. I got most of the starhub channels (the ones I am using) working well.

Hi there.

Thanks for the feedback.

Have been having a bit of trouble getting this to work in Sage. Mostly, I can get it to get the data, but cant get it displayed in SAGE.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Red face a user on byopvr...

I'm not sure if it's entirely relavent... (forgive my geography)

But a user on byopvr recently was working on getting xmltv guide data for indonesia, which forgive me if i'm wrong, is somewhat near singapore? Not sure if any of the formatting or information would be useful, but at least the info on how to go about creating a custom guide source/data would be...

MythTV Indonesia Success

*shrug*

Not sure about indonesia but I think they have a different feed. I wonder if their guide data is in English? Other coutires that can be used are Malaysia (Astro) and a bunch of the signal providers themselves have webpages with schedules on them. I will take a look at it, could be an alternate source, thanks!

MillHHaus: What do you mean by "able to get the data"? You mean you were able to use TVxb to grab sucessfully? If so, then you need to read this thread: http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...ead.php?t=1484. Use the XMLTV plugin provided by nielm in this post http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...7&postcount=57. It works great, I have been unable to get physical channels working and, thereby, unable to get coreykim's plugin to work as TVxb does not support multiple <name> tags. In your TVxb.ini file, make sure to change this command: 'xmltvoutput=' to point to your SageTV directory and name the file epgdata.xml. Here is what my line looks like:

Code:
xmltvoutput=C:\Sage\SageTV\epgdata.xml
I am a total newbie to Sage, so I can't be much more help there but any TVxb questions, I'd be happy to help!
