Sports and Stress

Does anyone else find that watching your favorite sports team play can be more stressful than anything else in the world? I'm a huge Illini fan and they lost the Big Ten championship last night to Wisconsin on a last second foul on a shot that would have never gone in. Of course it was a legitimate foul but the refs missed about 20 other calls that would have helped Illinois along the way...

Well at least Duke lost the same way on Sunday.

I found that exactly to be the case watching the Denver Broncos all season. I don't know what it was with my team here, but it really seemed the refs were just out to get us in every game. We went 8 full games in a row without getting a holding penalty called against our opponents. 8 games!

Now granted, the Broncos didn't play very well this year, but at least we could have been competitive without the ref interference!

I have asked Sage to record all of the big ten tournament games (since I cannot attend due to "my job")... I plan to breeze through them in about half an hour apiece.

What a great resource to have. Never miss a minute of action yet skip all the timeouts, commercials, etc.
