Channel Guide corrupted - same show every hour, every day, every channel
(Also posted in the main Sage TV forum).......
Hey guys, I'm at a loss here. Twice over the past two months, my channel guide keeps getting corrupted or something so that it says every TV station is playing the same show every hour, every day, until the end of time. Last month it decided every one of my 300 TV stations was showing "Classic Rock"... this month, it was "Whose Line is it Anyway?". I was away from home this time and I had my girlfriend attempt to add a channel or remove one to force a guide update and this did nothing. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but has anyone else had this problem? I am also using Lester Jacob's plug-in for Canadian guide data from Zap2it, but I think the issue may be in Sage itself. Any thoughts? Any easy way to totally blow up the guide so that it would force another download (perhaps deleting the database file with a batch file on the desktop for when it happens again when I'm not around?) |

Try doing a repair of Sage by re-running Sage Setup. I find this has fixed alot of issues I have had in the past when soething didn;t work.

Is there a solution to clearing your channel list and redownloading?
I'm also having the same prob. |
