Usb-uirt
I am trying to set up sagetv using the UIRT. but when pressing the remote buttons for my cable remote, the UIRT does not light up. It does light up when I use other remotes like my DVD and VCR. Is there somewhere where the cable boxes commands can just be downloaded in, the program seems to have only come with motorola and I am using Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3000?

Your remote uses the 56KHz spectrum. You should be able to learn the codes into the USB-UIRT if you hold the remote close enough, but if you actually wanted to use that remote to drive the USB-UIRT then you'd probably want to get the USB-UIRT with 56KHz sensor:
