USB to Serial to Sony SAT-B3

OK, so I had this up and running flawlessly with the USB to serial, but when I was testing some new things out I removed the source and added it back and now it will not control the Sat box. I did format Windows, for unrelated reasons, and tried that again. Add the source, then remove it and add it back. Same problem.

So it seems like when you remove it and add it back it does not want to work anymore. Any ideas? It is using Com Port 4.

yeah reset the cable box while removing the power supply cord while it is on and connected to the computer

Same problem. I even readded the source but it still does not control the Sat box.
