Sage not letting client sleep

I have had this problem forever, but thought I would ask if there is a way to fix it with Studio.

I currently have some DVDs ripped and stored on my client machine in my home theater. I leave the client on all the time, but let it go to sleep when not in use. However, if I expose my ripped DVDs to the server then the server seems to access the hard drive periodically and not allow my client box to go to sleep.

Is there a way to tell the server to stop looking at the directories?

Is this fixable within Studio if not directly with a property setting?

I really would like to keep the ripped DVDs online so that my children can watch them, but not at the cost of keeping the client machine awake.

thanks,
