Freeze during fast forward

Hi, looked through the freeze threads and didn't see a similar problem to mine: I have girder set for a 30 second fast forward using 3 forward messages in a row. Maybe 1 in 50 times using this causes Sage to freeze. CPU usage shows normal but it will not respond. Kill and re-launch and all is good again.

Other than this problem and an occasional forgot to change a channel issue it is very solid.

Ideas?

Out of curiousity, are you using an NVDVD *audio* decoder? I experienced similar problems using their audio decoder, so I switched to another one, but still use the NVDVD mpeg decoder...

Yeah, I had the same problem, but like the guy above said, it was with the NDVD audio decoder.

Hi, No, I still get freezes. However, I use commercial skip now so it rarely comes up. On the other hand after skip the audio is sometimes dead. Have to hit rewind once to get it back. And so it goes....
