Stock Quotes in SAGE

I was wondering if there is any intrest in having stock quotes in sage. I wrote a Java based Stock manager a while back, and I have most, if not all, of the classes need to add the functionality to just about anything. The classes are set up to do single quotes, or more of the library can be used to have accounts, and store the stock info in a text file. The classes store the account info in a single text file, and then all of the stocks in another file. I am using the Yahoo delayed quotes, but it is free.

I was thinking that there was a couple different ways that stock info could be used in Sage.

1. Just a page with indicies
2. A page where you can enter a symbol an get a quick quote
3. A full fledged porfolio manager. (This might need to be password protected or hidden though)

For any of this to acctually happen I have to wait until Studio is available to the public, or one of the people that is privatly testing Studio wants to add this functionality to Sage.

In case I didn't mention it, I've already prototyped data scraping for both stock quotes and sports scores. I didn't go any further on these two, because I don't have an easy way to integrate it yet. Working on the plan to integrate to SageTV as we speak. If nobody else steps up to do this, stock and sports were the last 2 of the 4 plug-ins I was thinking of integrating.

ToonGal.... The classes that I have are pretty complete... They have almost everything that one would need to create a plugin. I would be more than willing to share the classes with you or if someone could share with me how to make these classes usefull to the community, I would be more than happy to put a bit of work coding some stuff to tie it all together to make it freindly for someone with studio to make a front end.

They do not use wed page stripping. They use a special web address that yahoo provides, that returns comma seperated data. It makes it a bit more efficient than stripping the info out of HTML tags.
