Why did my scheduled recording default to 480 x 480?
Does anyone know why a scheduled recording would default to 480 x 480? Is it because I set the recording quality to Good: 1.5 GB per Hour? If I'm not mistaken I have used the "Good" record quality setting in the past but did not have the 480 x 480 end result. I'm attempting to convert the recording to 720 x 480 using Wombles MPEG-VCR but after running all night it was only 19 percent complete. Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Good is 480x480, I think you have to use at least 1.8GB/hr to get 720x480.
FWIW, converting 480x480 to 720x480 involves decoding, resizing, and re-encoding and could easilly take a very long time depending on your hardware.
