Does SAGE go thru a DEBUG stage?

This is gonna sound stupid, but it has happened 4x to me.

When I first do a new install of SAGE, sage is very BUGGY, and the display is very messed up (MENUS over menus, highlighted menu items not going away....it's a mess.)

The more I use it and set up my parameters, the cleaner the picture and overlays get. within 3 hours it's PERFECT 100% of the time.

It was buggy like this when I first bought and installed SAGE, then when Iupgraded to the new service release, I tried a client version for my laptop and the SAME thing happed there, then just this last weekend, when I redid my sage box because of my SP2 crash....it did it again.
