Can you Top this!

Last night I come home to watch a recorded program. At the end of the file the system completely resets itself. After the reset I realize that one of the Huppague driver is blow away missing at least I think it is since it does not show up in device manager but their is now a question mark in a seperate entry called other drivers saying the driver for that deive (video controller)are not installed. So I tell it to reinstall the drives and it says it can't. So I restart the sytem again with the intention of reinstalling the second tuner and guess what the driver magically reappears.

I can hardly wait for the next suprise. SO has anyone had this happen to them or am I special. Regards,

That sounds like some of the problems I saw when I first tried the 22162 drivers. see my posts #30 - #36 . I have no idea why they occured or why they when away. I still encounter what I consider ramdom errors but they are now at an acceptable level.

I guess for now or until their is a good alternative " acceptable level" will have to be tolerated. Thanks for the reply.
