need links to help install windows....

I'm getting ready to install windows XP (AGAIN) after my SP2 crash and burn.

I want to install the most BASIC files I will need for WINDOWS to operate with my network and SAGE.

I read somewhere of a link or a thread about doing just that, but couild not find any using teh search.
