Question Blank SageTV Screen

I got my PVR built.

WinXP Pro, P4-1.6 Gig CPU, Radeon-7000 Video Card with TV Out, Creative Video Blaster Digital VCR TV Card, 20 and 100 GIG Hard Drives.

I connected to my Big Screen TV.
I can see the Windows Desk top and SageTV on the monitor.

On the TV I can see the Windows Desk Top however the SageTV screen was Blank?

What could my problem be?

I am considering going wireless from the Computer PVR to the Big Screen TV. Has anyone attempted this? What type of equipment did you use?

You've got your video card configured to display the Overlay surface on the primary monitor only. You need to configure it to be the secondary display, or switch which display is the primary. This can be done in the Display properties in Control Panel. It's different for every video card.

WOO! FOund a solution, I was using a creative blaster, and decided to go out and buy a WINTV PVR as well. Same problem with both cards. I could View what was on tv using the Cards bundled software ,but not in sagtv. So it turned out i needed an MPEG2 Decoder installed. All i did was install Power DVD and it all works fine now. If you dont have A copy of Power DVD (i believe any DVD software will work) i think theres a program at www.elecard.com that will work. Now everything works ok. Im still stuck with 2 MPEG 2 cards but maybe now i can givethe 2 tuner setup a shot.
