Best standard (tube) NTSC TV for around $300-400

I need a 32" TV, just a standard NTSC tube type....probably non-flat screen. I don't want to spend more than about $400.

Any recommendations?

Not to start a debate or anything, but do you really want to spend money on an SDTV anymore? Especially that much money?

Seriously, my best advice would be so save and get an HDTV, you can get into one for about $800. Heck you can get a really nice one for about $900:

I'd consider selling my 36" HD, but it would probably cost $400 to ship it to you.

Thanks, Stanger... I agree with you. This, actually isn't for me, it's for a friend who was asking me.

However, if I had $800 to spend and I needed to put TV in two bedrooms, I think I'd get 2 $300 SDTV's, 2 MediaMVP's and call it done.

For a family/theater room....absolutely....HDTV is the way to go.
