Help, Sage starts recording immediately after launch
Every time I start Sage it immediately starts recording and showing whatever is on the channel it last used. It never used to do this. The show it is recording is not on the schedule or favorite lists. To stop the recording, I have to go through Watch Now then Close File to get Sage to stop recording.
Any ideas on how I can stop this and get Sage to just start without immediately showing and recording a show randomly? I have gone through all the on-screen options and have checked the properties file and didn't find anything that seemed to control this action. (fyi, I'm using Malore's STV) Thanks, Steve |

Do you have IR (Intelligent Recording) turned on?

Use the Options command on the main menu (Ctrl+o or right click) OR go to Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Multimedia tab -> Video Menu Options.
Is "Display Video on Menus" set to "Always"? Set it to "If Active" or "Never". - Andy

Thanks for the information!
I did not have IR on but I did have Display Video on Menus set to Always. Not sure how I got it into this mode. Changing this to If Active or Never took care of the problem. Thanks again, Steve |
