Need to create Fav by channel
I want to record movies off of a particular international channel.
The problem is that the EPG does not have categories for this channel (and many others) I know that this channel airs a movie everyday at 1pm. So i could create a timed recording. But then i do not get the name of the movie unless i watch it. Guess what i really need is a way to create a favourite timeslot on a specific channel. Is there something else i could try ? Do you mean the channel is or is not listed in the EPG? I think you mean it is not in the EPG? However...
If it is in the EPG, then the favorites feature already contains an option to limit a fav to a particular channel. You can then use the MlbDude (or MalDude & possibly nielm) custom STV to gain access to the ability to limit the favorite to recording only those airings that fall within a specified 1 hour timeslot. Note sure if that helps... - Andy

The channel is listed in the EPG.
The EPG has the name of the movie. The issue is that no category is assigned to the movie title. Since there is no category, i cannot create a fav by category. And i obviously can't create a fav by title (diff title every day). The only option left is to create a timed recording - which does not give me the title of the movie. Hope that explains.....
