If you use XMLTV, the category for movies in the XML file must show "Movie".
Per example, because I live in the Netherlands, mine shows Film, which I first have to rename to Movie.

About the Grabber:
The problem:
- Grab the gif to HD (Done)
- Load the gif in SageTV

I used a program called WinHTTtrack (Opensource) to grab the whole page of the Gif (because it's generated, only the link isn't), and then the commandline options the program has to constantly update the downloaded website. ('Bout 80Kb each time, can live with that :P)

Now the problem seems to be to load the GIF in Sage.. So far I'm able to load it, but I *think* that the GIF name also changes every X hours, so that the path wouldn't be correct anymore... Now I need a prog that gets all the gif in a directory and renames them to static names..

My apologies for my bad english... :-/

Hey, guys. I don't use XMLTV. I use Zap2it Canada. It's all good.

But, I'm SURE I've been able to list all 'movies' in the past without specifying which channels I most often view movies on.

I just can't remember how I did it.

Anyone?

When using MlbDude's Upcomming Movies in Nielm you don't need to select the channels ... It will show them all ... at least for the 2 week EPG ...

Ahh ok! I must have done it when I was running MlbDude's. How do I add it inside of Nielm's? (newbie question)

Yes ... It was in MlbDude2 and Nielm kindly added it to his STV. He also gave us the ability to place it (the Internal Screen) anywhere in the menu ...

Just add this to your menu.xml

<internalScreenMenuItem
title="Upcoming Movies - CSM"
icon="STVs\OriginalV2\mlbdude\Default\mm_recordings.png"
screen="Upcoming Movies - CSM"/>

Note, you can change the title text say to what ever you like as well as the PNG icon.

Enjoy ... T.

You bet d. ... Here is a list of all Internal Screens available that you can add to your menu.xml menus and sub-menus.

Something I run into is I can't delete a recording in Sage while comskip is running on it. Could it be changed to either stop the comskip process and delete the program or flag the program to be deleted when comskip finishes?

been busy... apart from the importable STVs, I am also working on something else that has been in demand... you will see what soon (he says cryptically!)

BTW, Is there any need for a nielm.stv for 2.1 now that Cayars' STV appears to have everything including the kitchen sink in it (and far more time than I ever had to be able to add more!)

Since I love speculation, I'll guess a media plugin to play other types of files (J R Media Center based or other).

My "guess" would be no, that's not what Nielm is talking about.

Nielm, to say it "has been in demand" is probably an understatement!

Considering I've held off moving to 2.1 because we use your STV, I'd say there's a demand

Hmph. I'll have to think harder...

Actually, if Nielm is going to quit updating his STV, I need to break out yours and start figuring out how to configure it (how hard could it be, right?). So I might not have any extra brain cells to speculate with.. Hmm.

It's no harder then any other STV. If you install it clean it will auto configure everything except transcoding and the weather config xml file. If on the other hand you already have these setup from other STVs like Nielm's STV then my STV should read the same values and you shouldn't have any issues. It's easy to switch back if you don't like it.

Is a Web Scheduler a highly requested "in demand" thing around here anymore???

BTW, I was just having some fun with you guys. When Nielm is ready to tell us what he's up to, I'm sure he will and it will ROCK, like most of his other contributions!

Well if I were to say it's not a web scheduler, then what would your next guess be?
