Browse to http://radar.accuweather.com/adcbin/...radar_menu.asp and click the dot for your region. Once you have the radar for your "area", make a note of the 4-character area code by looking at the url. Cincinatti's "area" is http://radar.accuweather.com/adcbin/...R1&nxsite=kCVG

The 4-character area is "kcvg"

Now, browse to http://radar.accuweather.com/adcbin/...adar_large.asp and click the appropriate dot. Get the "metro" 3-character code by looking at the url. Dayton's "metro" is http://radar.accuweather.com/adcbin/...asp?nxsite=day

The 3-character metro is "day"

Now, edit your weatherconfig.xml. Copy the 2 Washington, DC views to the top of the list of views and edit the urls to reflect your area and metro. By default, the first view listed is the one displayed in the RWS.

Just a couple of spelling errors in the menu items. The word Upcoming is spelled with two "m"s (upcomming) for both movies and favorites. The word favorites is spelled with a "u" (favourites), which is only correct if you're in England. Just an FYI.

As to 'favorites', I think that spelling is only correct if you're in the United States. Most english speakers of the world speak something much closer to the Queen's English than we Yanks do.

Good point. However, considering that probably 90% of Sage users are from the US, it would seem no "u" is the proper choice. But since Nielm is from Belgium apparently (great country!), I'm cool with it. Upcomming, though, is incorrect either way.

Hmmm ... OK ... type upcomming in Microsoft Word and do a spell check ... Mine tells me one "m" .... I think we've had this discussion before.

Also, you can use Nielm's menu.xml to rename your menu title to Favorites.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The Nielm menu has 2 m's, which is incorrect. The word is spelled, "upcoming".

Yep ... You are speaking about the Malore Upcoming Movies in Niel's STV. It is spelled wrong, but again it can be corrected via the menu.xml for the menu title. There is also an MlbDude Upcoming Movies and it is correct, by default.

Only correct the first listing of the comming error for the menu. I changed both and could no longer access Upcoming Movies since somewhere it must be listed as upcomming. Changed back and all is well. Just a thought.

Try something like this in your menu.xml ... I have both Malore's Upcoming Movies and MlbDude's Upcoming Movies in my menus. Note the "title" is what shows up on you menu, the "screen" is the screen name. Who cares if that is spelled wrong, no one sees it.

Note green text is just to show what is spelled correctly, red isn't.

<internalScreenMenuItem
title="Malore Upcoming Movies"
icon="STVs\OriginalV2\mlbdude\Default\mm_weather.png"
screen="Malore Upcomming Movies"/>

<internalScreenMenuItem
title="MlbDude Upcoming Movies"
icon="STVs\OriginalV2\mlbdude\Default\mm_weather.png"
screen="Upcoming Movies - CSM"/>

EDIT: Oh ... Ignore the Weather PNG above ... I only used it to test ... Use the PNG icon you like best for that menu item.

Hi Nielm,

This worked perfectly on the server, but the same option isn't in the client properties file. As a result, I can't prevent the client from trying to launch something. I tried making the default browser nullexe.exe, but that launched an error message everytime.... Thoughts?

Thanks a lot!

I sent him a PM as well ... no response ...

Several choices for this abnormality ...

Another vacation! (he probably deserves it)

Busy working on STV updates!

Not feeling well ... hopefully not ...

Hopefully we will hear back soon ....

Nice work! I really like what you have done -- making it open for other's to add in menus and such... Hey, what about throwing in the fast forward speed -- Slow, Medium, Fast? Come on, it will be awesome!

Thx!

Should be... it should appear the first time you use my STV on the client, and try to run a web browser, but even if it is not there and you add it it should still take effect...

MightyT/Redcoat999 -- option n+1: been busy, and it seems my browser's popup blocker blockes the PM auto-receipt notification.. (and hey -- you guys seem to be fixing each other's problems!)

matterw: multi-speed FF/REW will not be possible...

Yeh But! We get worried when one of the master STV builders disappears for any length of time!

Was about to send out the Sage Posse ...

Thanks, T.
