Sound Problems

I have run into this problem twice now during my trial period. When viewing TV through SageTV, the sound stops completely. As a result, if I record TV while the sound is not working, the sound does not work on the recording. Video, but no sound. If I exit SageTV and then restart it, it works fine. I'm not sure what's causing this. Could just be because I am using a beta version of SageTV. Any suggestions? Anyone else experience this?

I am using ver 1.3.4beta on WinXP, and have a WinTV PVR-350 card.

Thanks!

Audio filter?? You mean Audio Decoder in SageTV? If so, I am using the Intervideo NonCSS Audio Decoder.

I had a similiar problem with no sound(fixed now). Are you using fast user switching or logging on another user account in XP while SageTV is running?

i asked elsewhere but i think similar things happens if you boot Sage with no aerial signal going in... reconnecting later doesn't seem to matter.. I was wondering if this was cause the PAL audio fix is only done at boot time?!

PAL audio fix is done every time the encoder is started.

Well, that's hard to say since it only happens occasionally an randomly, but I guess I could try it for awhile and see how it works out.
