Installing the Dscaler Plugin?

I've installed the latest Dscaler 4.1.8

And still I've had no luck in getting the dscaler deinterlacer to work.

I go into the Detailed Setup... but, my Dscaler Deinterlacing is still set to disabled, and I can't seem to enable it. So, I'm assuming it's not installed.

Any ideas?? What am I missing here.

d.

You don't have to install dscaler, the filters/plugin is installed with Sage, however to use it, you need to be using the Elecard MPEG decoders.

Oh. I'm using the Cinemaster Decoder.

So, I guess it's not an option for me?

Wheat should I be using in it's place?

Right now I'm using:

Overlay
Cinemaster Decoder
DVDX - Mode A
Deinterlace - Default
Dscaler - Disabled.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

you can use the aplha dscaler 5 decoders

but generally just use either overlay or VMR9
choose the decoder and you can play with the DXVA modes
but the deinterlace modes do not really help that much

Are you having a specific problem? I've found that setup to give me a great picture.
