lock up in SageTV client

I was watching my days recorded programmes via the client.. everything was ok.. i paused the programme to let me get stuff ready...

In the meantime i brought other windows to the fore, did a bit of browsing... i finally went back to the window but clicks on pause/play wouldn't do anything.. sometimes a box would appear round the clicked icon... the hotkeys (which i struggled to work) seemed to work for a few times... but then they stopped working... shortly after it came up asking me if i wanted to change channel even though i was recording.. the first time that appeared i managed to click NO... the next time pressing the same keys s,d i think... it came up again... froze... finally changing channel... but no video updated.. then the window was hung... with 100% cpu usage.. it took time to kill it...

I did then notice that my mouse in my msdos prompt/command prompt window was causing it to move violently.. this happens sometimes... i assume either the right or middle mouse button gets stuck in the software or on the mouse itself... hammering the mouse buttons to clear that up and my system responded a little more...

Not sure if this was caused by this mouse problem (does middle button held, or right button held mean anything to the client?!?!) ... the one thing it taught me was that it'd definately be nice to have guards on the clients so that i could never interupt a recording programme with the client...

Leaving the client up paused or in the menus/EPGs worries a little too as sometimes it asks me if its ok to change channel shortly for a recording... i worry if i wasn't at my machine would it change channels!????

Nicely when i got back into a new run of the client i was recording my recording again... the server must of realised the client wasn't interfering with the recording and resumed recording!?? will this always happen!? its nice...
