cut a program from a recording
hi all,
Finally i've got sageTV working a treat and really putting it to good use. One question i have and that is, if i've left it recorded happily whilst i'm watching tv and i want to get one of the programs it recorded out of sage so i can burn to dvd, how do i do that? I've been watching mtv for past few hours and a song's just come up that i want to take out of the stream it's been recording. It's recorded the song fine and everything else for the past few hours but how do i actually just get the song i want out? Cant seem to see any cut/paste type option in sageTV for that. If you cant then i think it'd be a really usefull addition to be able to setup markers for bits you want to archive or put in your tv library ? thanks |

infact, it's just occured to me.. if sageTV is constantly recording, which does work a treat, is there an option so if i'm watching TV there's something i really want to record on which i did not setup in the epg can i not just press record and have that record until i press stop then it's moved into the library at all?
there doesnt seem to be a "record" option on the toolbar when watching liveTV? am i missing something obvious? |

Currently you have to go back into the Guide and hit record there. We will add the functionality from the TV view in a later version.
