Which PVR card?

I haven't bought a TV tuner card yet. Three families of cards are listed on the System Requirements page:
  • Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 or WinTV-PVR-350
  • Creative Labs Video Blaster Digital VCR
  • Provideo PV256C or PV256T
What do people recommend for the most hassle-free operation? FYI, my computer is a P4 running XP. I welcome comments as well as poll responses.

Thank you.

Either the PVR250 or the PVR350 definitely. I have the 350 and the Provideo 256T card, and the PVR350 blows the provideo card away in quality, IMO.

Without question, the PVR 250 or 350 cards.

Is there a difference in picture quality between the WinTV250/350 and Creative Labs PVR cards ?

I would stay away from the Creative cards. I own 2 of them but replaced them with PVR 250 units. The Hauppauge cards are much easier to get working.

Of course if you are looking for a couple of Creative cards real cheap,,,,

I have the creative card and its about as close to a Tivo replacement as you can get currently. However I am looking for an HDTV solution.
