Great hard drive price!

Circuit City's Sunday ad has the Western Digital 120GB hard drive for $40 after (ugh!) rebates (2 rebates - WD and Circuit City). I know Western Digital is great about honoring rebates. How is Circuit City? (I've had good experiences with Fry's rebates and terrible experiences with CompUSA rebates).

Picked one up myself. CC is usually good on the rebate but be prepared to wait 2 months or so. The only drawbacks with this HD is the interface is only ATA100 and the 1 year warranty.

I have good experience with CC rebates. I got almost exactly the same deal(2 rebates) for a 120GB WD HD, several monthes ago. CC back dated(prior to my purchase) one of the rebates, so it expired the day before I actually purchased. But I printed out the website's copy before the change. The refund center first refused the one rebate but a quick call and it was OK'd. I got both of them within 6 weeks.

FYI, the one whose date changed didn't print out with my purchase. But CC was great and honored it since I saw it advertised at that price before they made the change.

My experience was a little weird. But if you get all the rebates printed out(by the register) when you purchase, you shouldn't have any issues.
