Help
I made a mistake. In a moment of insanity, while I was trying to get closed captions working, I deleted the Frey technologies folder from the registry. After which, SageTV didn't recognize my tuner (Hauppauge Quad USB). I have tried removing Sagetv and all associated files and re-installing with no success. The Frey Technologies folder is still missing and the tuner is still not recognized. Any suggestions before I rebuild the system?

I zipped up the registry settings from a base 64 bit install (should work for 32 bit as well). If you import these files (you need both) into your registry then the base registry settings will be back.
Note: if your setup needs any changes to those base settings and/or new keys installed by something after the sage install then this would not include those. k

You might have to uninstall and reinstall the tuner drivers too.
