Need XMLTV expertise ...

boukmandutty found a way to get M3U streams into SageTV using OPENDCT ... We would like to see if Pluto input will work ... but need to input XMLTV into Sage ... documentation for XMLTV is all over the place ... this would be a great addition to SageTV.

Thanks boukmandutty
and Thanks to any XMLTV experts.

This dtd is the reference standard https://github.com/XMLTV/xmltv/blob/master/xmltv.dtd you shouldn't need anything else.

The 4 hour XMLTV from PlutoTV is a waste of time IMO. I'd stick with the channels that have SD JSON guide data.

Also the published URL's are pretty unreliable which is why I opted to use streamlink to import Pluto TV into NextPVR. Check what streamlink is doing if you want to use them directly.

What is really needed is someone with comskip.ini expertise that can make these recordings enjoyable.
