I tried it it does not work not even with OPENDCT as you need FFMPEG /SageTVTranscoder to support the new audio and video.... So until they upgrade the SageTV decoders or OPENDCT FFMPEG it will not work.
.
EMBY Beta works and so does Channels DVR

So why does mine work? What am I missing here? Unless you are talking about 4K content, that I would understand.

Edit: I think I may have figured this out. When I bring up the Channel Lineup in the HDHomeRun application, the 4K/ATSC 3.0 channels are numbered differently than their HD/ATSC 1.0 counterparts. As an example, WXYZ is our ABC affiliate. In the channel lineup, 7.1 is WXYZ-HD (with an HD indicator in the rightmost column), and 107.1 is WXYZ (with an HEVC indicator in the rightmost column). SageTV only knows about channel 7.1, so it never even attempts to have OpenDCT tune to 107.1. So as far as SageTV knows, I have a 4-tuner ATSC 1.0 device.

The HDHR 4-tuner (HDFX-4K) is in! I hooked it up, and what a breeze to have it initialized. I tested 4 different channels from 4 different devices simultaneously and it worked like a champ. I felt the bottom of the HDHR unit and it was a warm, but to be expected. I was also able to pause and rewind a show that I was actively watching.

$35 annual cost to use the built-in USB with DVR has got me wondering...
- Is this the only way to use the built-in USB for recorded shows (scheduling and the like)?
- What do you guys think of the Guide for the paid HD version?

I used to use schedulesdirect with WMC until I cut the cord last year, so now I have to plan on how I'll be setting up DVR and sharing it. I'm going to look into Plex also to see what options I have. It would be cool if I can just record to an external 2.5" drive. I have a ton of them from old drives we were tossing at work and the USB adapters are very cheap.

I owe you all a beer!

Update...
I got Live TV & DVR within Plex set up also now with my HD HR Tuner. I created a new DVR repository from my Plex server to record, so I guess I don't need the USB on the new HD HR Tuner.

I don't know how good this will work, but I'll report back my findings when I can. Right now, the Guide in Plex is way better than I expected. I already have a full lifetime Plex pass, so this has me pumped! I can look at shows up to a week out.
