$18? Cheap media extender?

Black Friday comes early? Is it powerful enough for the app? $18

I had some experience with the miniclient app on the first gen stick and it was fairly sluggish. According to wikipedia, the processor speeds haven't changed much between that one and the third gen, so I wouldn't have high expectations for this one. The big changes between the models was wireless support and hardware video decoding.

The fact that the remote can't control the TV is a deal breaker for me.

It's worth getting the 4k version for the faster processor and better remote, even if you don't have a 4k TV.

It's currently on sale for $29.99, so it's only $12 more.
