Anyone using dizqueTV with SageTV?

Just stumbled across dizqueTV project. It is described as:

Quote:
Create live TV channels from your own media. Access the streams using the simulated HDHomerun tuner or the generated M3U URl.
https://github.com/vexorian/dizquetv

It appears to be very similar to Kodi's PseudoTV . The unfortunate part about it is it appears to need Plex to feed it the data about your video library. I had hoped that it could monitor my tv/movie directories but that does not appear to be the case.

Wondering if any of you guys have used it?

What would be the advantage of using this as opposed to just using Plex or some other similar media playback client? Wouldn't the client device be something like a phone, SmartTV, tablet, Roku, Xbox, PS4, etc that can run Plex natively? Or Kodi?

I was always a fan of PseudoTV on Kodi and thought it would be cool to have some of these 'virtual' channels in SageTV mixed in with my OTA channels. Coming from a childhood of cable tv and watching things live, I'm more likely to watch something that is 'playing' rather than on demand. Maybe I'm just weird.
