No Sound With Cable and SPDIF

I am trying to setup sage for the first time and am having troubles getting the sound to work. I have an onboard nvidia spdif connection (not soundstorm) to my reviever. My cable is coming in directly, not from a box or anything like that. I can get video, just no sound. I have tried all the options I can think of.....

my filters sage finds:
MPEG Audio Decoder
Cyberlink Audio Decoder
Sonic Cinemaster DS Audio Decoder

Audio Renderers:
Nvidia nForce Audio
Cyberlink Audio Renderer
Default DirectSound Device
Default WaveOut Device
Directsound: Nvida nForce Audio

thats all I can think to tell....if anyone needs anymore information to help you help me lemme know....thanks

have you set up the audio decoder for spdif output?
use radlight filter manager for this

and try setting the audio render to default wave out or nforce Audio

Make sure you setup your nVidia Input for Stereo Mix in the nVidia utility.
