Black Background Error
Hi, I'm using SageTV 2.0.20, with Java v1.4.2_04 with the latest Catalyst drivers on an ATI 9600.
I've got a small problem when I first start up Sage. The background image is black instead of all the pretty blues. The icons still show up, and the menus are fine, but the background is black. The weird thing is that it will return to normal if I go into the Media Library and play something (maybe it's the direct3d kicking in for the visualizations or something?). When I return to the main menu, everything is like it should, and as far as I can tell it stays that way till I close the app or put it in sleep mode. I've tried all the settings I can think of as far as VMR, hardware acceleration, and overlay color keying. They all have the same effect. I just installed v1.8.7 of the MlbDude2 STV, but I still have the same problem as before. |

Well, I tried installing DirectX 9.0c and reinstalled the 4.7 Catalyst drivers. Neither worked. I'm thinking it has to be a Java problem, and I just noticed v1.4.2_05 is available, so I'm going to download and try that tonight when I get in. Here's hoping that the .0001 version update was for my specific problem, heh.

Well, that didn't work. I'm at a loss. Maybe I'll try uninstall/reinstall. Although, all this is on my main pc instead of the htpc for testing. I guess I'll just install it on the htpc and hope I don't have the same weird bug.

OK, got it fixed. Apparently the "If Active" option wasnt working right for some reason. A quick uninstall/reinstall of Sage fixed my problems.
