IR extender cable for HD300

I want one, but I wasn't sure if any of the ones I'm seeing on Amazon will work or not. Can anyone point me in the direction of an IR cable that I can use with the HD300?

Thanks,

Craig

Seems that most of the links in that thread are dead. However, I was able to take away a little info, and I decided to buy a cable from Amazon and see if it would work straight out of the box, or try to switch up the wires. I purchased this one and got it working by swapping the red and white wires.

Thanks,

Craig

Pretty slick, Craig. I built a cable a long time ago because my bedroom TV is sitting just under the dresser that the TV sits on. As it turns out, I found that if I keep the HD300 flush front face with the dresser it sits under, that I can just point my remote at the ceiling and still control without issue (even without the IR extender cable plugged in). If the HD300 were stuck to the back of the TV, it might not be so successful I suppose.
