Two HD-200's: One scrolls Video list instantly other takes 2-3 seconds per scroll?

I have two HD-200's: One scrolls the Video list instantly and the other takes 2-3 seconds per scroll.

At first, I figured it was a bandwidth issue with the second HD-200, but the problem replicates when it is plugged into the exact same Ethernet port as the "Good" HD-200 was.

All HD-200's on the same LAN share the same props file, right? - At least when I browse the Sage directory, there's only one Sage.properties file...

There are some settings in the “clients” sub-directory. They are named by the MAC address.

Bingo!

  • Powered down the problem HD-200
  • Renamed it's props file to *.zz
  • Saved the the good HD200's props file as the problem HD-200's file
  • Fired up the problem HD-200 and all was well

No clue... it just worked...

Interesting
Have you tried a compare/diff between the two files to see what was different?
Curious to know

Good thought for the intellectually-challenged such as Yours Truly.

I suspect that my instance of the Beyond Compare app will do that.

I will see what I can do and report back.
