#'s in filename mean?
im wondering if anyone happens to know what the string of numbers is in the filename.
i understand its [title][ep.title]-[some number]-[part].mpg im wondering if [some number] can be of any use to me to try and populate a database with show info. since there is no physical break in the filename between the show title and episode title, im having problems finding an automated way to get me some info that i can work with. im trying to keep my sage and meedio databases synced with the same data, as close to realtime as possible.

If you record the same episode of a show two different times, you get two different number codes for the file, so it may tie the file to a particular airing. I don't know if this number means anything outside of SageTV.
