m150 vs PVR-250 (model 980)
I had m150 for a while and getting tired of the mediocre picture quality. I had to apply many picture touch up using ffdshow (gradual denoise, chroma offset, etc).
I broke the bank and got a PVR-250 (model 980) and wow. The picture quality is much better. Much cleaner without the chroma offset bug of the m150. I'm hoping this card is more stable than the m150. I've got intermittent hardware lockup on m150. When it happens, I can't view TV - it just appears blank. This also happens in MCE, so I don't think it's related to Sage. |

New driver for m150
I just installed new driver for Avermedia m150 MCE OEM. The files are dated 9/6/2004.
The picture quality has improved BIG time. It's also stable. This card is now a keeper. -- Abi |
