Possible solution to video stutter problems and improved system performance
I set all of my latencies to 32 last night using the utility discussed in the thread linked below. I am now able to tolerably run ffdshow with the TomsMoComp deinterlacer and Sonic decoders in SageTV with VMR9. I get occaisional, very minor stuttering, but it is a big improvement and its tolerable. If DX9.0c can fix the VMR9 tearing I'll be all set!
