Linux Novice trying to add a second recording drive to Ubuntu

I just installed a 2nd hard drive to enlarge my recording space. In addition to my system drive, I had a single 2Tb drive for content and added a second 2Tb drive to enlarge the content space. I mounted the first drive manually so it would be mounted at \var\media\tv. Yesterday I used a GUI to automatically mount the 2nd 2TB drive. The GUI mounted it at \media\sagetv.

After adding the drive I added a 2nd Video Recording Directory and pointed it to the new drive. The System Information screen sees the new directory, however the Available Video Diskspace did not increase and the graph at the bottom of my screen didn't change. Both showed 612.2GB free before adding the 2nd hard drive and shows the same after adding it. I expected to see something like 2612GB after adding the drive.

I suspect my inexperience with Ubuntu is to blame and I did something wrong when mounting the second drive. Or perhaps there is a manual edit needed to the Properties file?

See attachments for screenshots.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?
Thanks!

Turns out that I had the drive mounted incorrectly because I unmounted it and then remounted it to /var/media/ and it the system now recognizes all the free space.
