3 puzzling question in both Windows and Linux v9
I have 3 small but irritating things that I can't track down - nothing major but if anyone can answer 1 or more of them, I'd be thrilled.
2 are in the webserver in the browser 1. my set channel grid options disappear from time to time and go back to the default - number of channels 10 instead of 100, etc,etc and in recordings and the same with recording lists - for example, I don't have them grouped but they suddenly become grouped again. 2. my overscan settings in HD300 get lost - and I have to set them again...moving the square edge to the top and bottom corners. 3. this is just a puzzler I'm curious about. I have windows 7 with a vm containing Linux. Placeshifter in windows shows both networks and I can connect on either for a client based view of them - the PC and linux. I have just started toying with a vpn service and, when it is on, the entry for the linux one is no longer there. If I stop the vpn it pops back - I just have no clue where to look. obviously it's something to do with the oracle Vbox but I don't know a lot about the technicalities..... thanks for any help........
