pvr-usb2 not displaying video or sound

Please help I am having a problem with SageTV 2.0 latest build 2.0.20. When I start Sage TV 2.0 and go to live tv i get no video or sound. I found that the only way for Sage TV to work correctly is that I have to start WinTV2000 first which displays the video and audio fine, then I quit WinTV2000 and then start SageTV then I have no problem.

I'm using a Hauppauge PVR-USB2, my input is Composite only coming from a RCA DirectTV unit, running Windows XP SP1 and SageTV 2.0.20.

I am having a similar problem. I also have 2 PVR-350s, both of which work fine. My third input, a PVR-USB2 will not give me video or audio either. Because I have three Hauppauge units in my system, I cannot use WinTV2000 to activate my PVR-USB2. I guess WinTV doesn't know which input to use??? Does anyone know how to specify the input device for WinTV2000 to use?

In my case, if I connect my video using Svideo and then select Svideo in the capture setup, I get neither video or audio. However, if I connect my video using Svideo and then select Composite in the capture setup, I get audio, but no video (Obviously). If I connect my video using Composite and then select Composite in the capture setup, I get neither video or audio. Does this happen in your case as well?
