SageTV is crashing
Hi,
I've been using SageTV7 for a while and just recently upgraded to SageTV9. Since then, I cannot use SageTV in client-server (on the same machine with the SageTV service) configuration anymore, SageTV9 just crashes right away when I try to play a TV recording. It works OK in a full server configuration. Here are my logs. Hopefully, somebody will be able to point me to any issues with my configuration. P.S. I'm using the last version of SageTV and the jre on Windows 10/64 Regards. Last edited by romain_gary; 08-27-2017 at 03:02 PM. |

Having similar issues. this is the third time since upgrading to v9 after epg data stopped, where I've had to go in a delete the wiz files and use old(really old) copies to get close to where I was before, now all my latest programming had been moved to archived folder

Sagetv server is crashing
No, I'm not using the SageTVclient on my HTPC, just the SageTV9 server.
When I turn on the SageTV service on the HTPC, the SageTV9 server crashes. It could be a memory issue as I only have 4GB of RAM on this machine. However, when I turn off the SageTV service, it works fine. I didn't have this problem with SageTV7. Regards. Last edited by romain_gary; 08-27-2017 at 03:05 PM. |

From the log, it looks like several of the plugins are crashing. Were each of the plugins updated since upgrading from v7 to v9? If not, that should be the first course of action.

I did upgrade most of the plugins.
For some others, there is no updates (as the author has abandoned development since V7).. I can try to disable some of them... Any other pointers? |
