DTVtune.exe and Xfinity/Comcast

Hi all,

If I am posting this in the wrong section of this forum, I apologize in advance. I also searched this topic and was unable to come up with any results.

I had DirectTV service which I recently cancelled. The service was getting too expensive so I went with Xfinity/Comcast.

While using direct tv , I used a program called DTVTUNE.exe to change channels on my box 9for recording) purposes via of an "http" command. This worked falwlessly.

Now, (I am afraid to ask this) I need this again, but, for my Xfinity box. Will this work with Xfinity? And, if so, can someone point me in the right direction for a guide on this ?

I think IR blaster is the only option with Comcast.
USBUIRT is probably the best solution with Sage on Windows.
