XMLTV Importer not giving me data
Since the regular EPG data is going away, I figured I would switch back to XMLTV w/ Zap2XML since I already have it. Since the last time I used it, I no longer have cable. So, I've re-done my preferences on Zap2it, and it looks like zap2xml is working, and the logs say that the XMLTV importer is importing thousands of airings. When I go to my guide however, I have only a few hours worth of data.

Seriously, no one can help me? The more I try to figure out what's wrong, it seems the more goes wrong. Now I've got duplicate channels in my guide and STILL missing data. Someone else out there must be using XMLTV and zap2xml. Please help!!

I think that most people have switched to Schedules Direct. The upgrade to V9 is really simple and support for SD is built in. It is probably your best option.

Why would anyone using SageTV in North America use XMLTV?

Because it's already paid for. I did get it to work in the end.

I am also using ZapToIt on a Kodi setup, so I have a file.
Would you please help me with what I need to do to get the file imported? I am not clear on what plugins or reconfig I will need for the ZapToIt guide. FWIW I have a Silicon Dust Cable Card Tuner, I think it's with SageDCT and RCN service (US)

I only had to mess with the importer plugin, not zap2xml so I'm not sure I can help you.
