Copying contents of recording directory

I have a disk in my Sage server going bad. Constant video stuttering, etc. If I copy the contents to a new disk in my server and add the new recording directory and delete the old, will Sage recognize the recordings in the new directory that I copied to? What is the recommended procedure? I have over 600 gigs of shows that I haven't watched on the failing disk and I'd hate to lose them. BTW, I am not physically removing the failing disk (lazy) so the new directory will have a different path if that matters. (e.g. old path "F:\SageTV Recordings" new path "G:\SageTV Recordings") Thanks.

When I've done this I gave the new drive the same lefthand path as the one it replaced. Can you give your old one a different letter so that the good one matches the path that Sage is expecting? Definitely turn off Sage & the service while making the change.

I've copied the contents of the failing disk and I'll just replace it with the new one. The new disk should have the same path so Sage should recognize the contents.
