Plex Pass - any good reason to pay?
Plex is having a special for one-year pricing, $30.
Does anyone subscribe, and if so, are you getting value? I've never seen the point, but if anyone has a reason why the paid Plex service is worth it, I'm all ears. The Miniclient's development has made me wonder if you need anything else, except for the fact that Plex is available on sooo many platforms...

Ah yes, thanks. I tried that once during a month-trial and couldn’t make heads or tails over it. Couldn’t really understand how it quite worked...

It is actually pretty simple now. When you are in the screen for the movie, or show, you just click the ... button and then Sync.

what exactly does it ‘sync’ with? All it did when I was using it was to keep trying to download huge movie files to my phone from across the planet. I’m assuming I wasn’t doing something right...

Download may be a better term than sync, but it usually or always transcodes to the file quality that you set.
