Strange shutdowns
I am running 2.0.20 STV and I cannot keep it running. The program will shutdown during the night and there is no log file to indicate why. I resinstalled my WinTV 350 latest drivers last night and it seems like STV froze before it could record a show. I have not been able to record anything on a timed setting for a few weeks now. This is getting ridiculous!! I have about 70 gb available on my hard drive so I know it is not drive space. I have a dedicated machine with only a network card and the WinTV card. I did experience unexplained shutdowns before but not to this degree. Seems like it doesn't run for long periods of time. These shutdowns are killing me. I am getting to the point of exploring alternative apps.

have you tried the beta drivers in the hardware section
and is the TV out left enabled when you are not using it if you are not using the TV out at all you can go back and get some really old pvr 250 drivers that do not have the hardware decoder included in the drivers and that may help stop the crashing remember to run hcw.clear.exe when uninstalling drivers |

The TV out feature is enabled when I am not using it.
I did run hwclear, uninstalled STV, and then unistalled Java runtime. I reinstalled everything and STV seems to have stabilized. Running for two nights now. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Seems like STV is up to its old tricks by shutting down unexpectedly. It shutdown during the night last night and did not record a scheduled program this morning. Any suggestions.
