Add Home Videos to Menu

Could anyone advise how I can add a "Home Videos" option to the main menu STV that would like to a display of my personal videos that I could play?

At the moment they appear under All Videos as I listed it as an video import directory but I don't want them there.

I'd also like to stick to the original STV as it does what I want quick and efficiently.

Is there an EASY way of doing this ?

I store all of my home videos in a separate directory then in the video browser I group by directory.

And there is setting in BMT for Home Videos where it won't try to scrape the specified directory for metadata.

OK, I'm obviously being stupid here

So, you have the videos in a directory that is NOT in the Sage import list ?
How do you group by directory under Videos, I can't see any grouping option ?

They are in one of the import directories.

Go to the Video browser and bring up the options. Under "Views" choose "Folders".

Yes, sounds like my config.

Problem with that is if you to to Videos -> Titles you see your home videos and I don't want that.

Just wanted a separate menu option.

Guess I will look at Gemstone again, it nearly did what I wanted but did not fully work with parental options which I need.

Use ADM (it's also in Gemstone, I believe).
Go into the ADM Menu (under "Options")
Choose "Copy mode is disabled" and hit enter (which enables Copy Mode)
In the "select a jump location" menu that pops up, choose "Video Folder Browser"
Navigate to the folder where your home videos are stored but do not click into it. Just leave it in focus.
Hit Options. Choose "create menu item for {folder name}"
From there you will be in the ADM menu item screen, where you can set the parent directory (you'd want "Top Level"), choose a background photo, etc.
Once you are done with that, choose "Copy mode is enabled" and click it to disable the mode.
You can then use ADM as normal to move the item up or down in the menu.
