Poor Client performance with Docker

I couldn't figure out what is causing this one. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I built a test unRaid system and added the SageTV docker image. It starts up fine and I have it configured and running. If I use Placeshifter to access the server, all is fine. No problems that I've seen so far.
The problems start when I access the server with the SageTV Client.
When I start to watch live TV with the SageTV client, there is a 30+ second delay before the video starts playing. (Just a second or 2 with Placeshifter)
Navigating the menu into current recordings is another 30+ second delay, but once again Placeshifter has no difficulty.

The Windows PC running the client is also used to access my standard Windows based SageTV server and works fine when connecting to it. Also, I am testing with Placeshifter from the same PC. (8 Core AMD with 8 GB RAM, Windows 10)

Client and server are running the same SageTV version - 9.0.12.504

The UnRaid server PC is an older dual core AMD 3.2 Ghz CPU with 8GB Ram. The motherboard / CPU combo does not support virutalization.
M/B: FOXCONN - A7DA-S/A7DA
CPU: AMD Phenom™ II X2 555 @ 3200

So far I haven't found anything in logging to give me a hint, but then I just started working with Docker about 2 months ago so my knowledge is a bit thin.

Do you have drive spindown enabled? I had to disable it because I was annoyed by the excessive delay when the drive the file was on needed to be spun up before playback could start.

Yes, it was. I have disabled and will re-test. Not sure if that is the cause as Placeshifter worked normally. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll post back as soon as I can test.
