QIP2500 serial control
What is the current status of serial rs232 control for channel changes and power of Fios qip2500 SD cable boxes? I know it used to work in 2007 with MultiDCTTuner DLL, but I have not seen any recent postings indicating it still works with the latest IMG software updates from Verizon. I tried rs232 from my PC to my qip2500 but it is not responding at all so I fear the port may be disabled now.
Also does anyone have a little test program like dct.exe that I could download for testing channel changes on the Windows command line? Thanks!
