I have seen issues where a plugin is moved to the v9 repo but the version number is not increased so the v7 xml is used and the plugin fails.
The V7 file takes precedence if the plugins are the same version. Part of the issue is that when I recovered many of the plugins that had been located on Bintray and put them on GitHub, I didn't increase the version number as I didn't want everyone getting notifications about updated plugins.

I pretty sure the V9 Repository now contains all the available V7 plugins, so we could do a compare of the 2 files and ensure the version numbers of the plugins in the V9 repository are greater than the V7 plugin, or, at some point, do a change to remove using the V7 repository.

I just installed the latest V9 64-bit version over an old version of V9 64-bit. I can't use the plugins menu now, although most of them work. The MKV compressor doesn't work now.

No error message pops up. Plugins menu from Setup has menu headers, not populated. Video conversions work except the new MKV plugin. SageTVSetupx64_9.2.5.exe and SageTVSetupx64_9.2.6.exe both behave the same way.

Never mind, it's operator error. I was going into the plugins menu with it set to "new plugins" and there aren't any new plugins. The MKV plugin was hosed, and I just removed it and reinstalled it.
