That's not surprising. I know it's not exactly the same thing, but when I was looking for a house, I put a lot of weight on if the residence could get FiOS or not. The alternative where I live is Comcast and I've pretty much had my fill of them and their "up to" and "burst" down data speeds that rarely come close in practice. FiOS uses the same "up to" speak, but they regularly exceed my allotted bandwidth and the up speeds are all symmetrical.
